Vayusphere Instant Response Solution Certified ca smart with Computer Associates' Unicenter Serviceplus

Vayusphere InstantResponse for Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk is an out-of-the-box Instant Response solution for companies that use Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk to manage the resolution of time-sensitive, mission-critical business problems. This solution expands the built-in wireless capabilities by giving analysts and customers secure Instant Messaging (IM) access to Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk. Analysts can have additional flexibility for interacting with Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk and other enterprise applications - while remote and on-call in real time - using simple keystrokes on their IM-enabled desktop or mobile device.

InstantResponse extends the notification process of the service desk, connecting it to analysts' IM enabled desktops, PDA's, and phones, as well as email and pagers.

Specifically, InstantResponse for Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk:

  • Utilizing the IM buddy list, Instant Response determines which Analysts are on-call to accept the escalation of the issue.
  • Enables managers to receive real-time instant messenger notifications if Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk requests are escalated impacting service level agreements
  • Provides a set of commands that enables an analyst to interact with Unicenter ServicePlus Service Desk remotely using simple keystrokes on their IM-enabled desktop, PDA, pager or phone. The available commands can be configured based on the user's role and access privileges. For example, analysts can: Assign the request to one or more people; accept a request; decline a request; list all open requests or a subset of requests; add notes to a request; reassign a request; and update the status of a request. Similarly, managers can: List all open requests by priority code; list all open requests that have been open longer than a user-defined number of minutes; and change the escalation status of a request.
